Our favourite spots for a spot of food and the odd glass or two!

With food being such an intrinsic part of the holiday experience for many people, we're often asked for recommendations for places to eat and drink in and around Cowes and the Isle of Wight; these are our absolute favourites: -

Described as "Breakfast and European flavours in a rustic-chic spot with bare brick walls and mismatched tables," The Coast Bar serves delicious, unpretentious food in a laid-back atmosphere!

One of our firm favourites (well of course being called The Anchor!) this delightful spot is a favourite with both locals and visitors offering hearty home cooked meals, a great selection of drinks and a fabulous atmosphere!

Serving a wide variety of drinks together with delicious food, this family pub celebrates Cowes long-standing association with yachting and the sea. Well worth a visit!

The Buddle Smuggler's Inn is a 16th century cliff top freehouse pub and restaurant set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with fine views across The English Channel. If fine dining from an extensive menu together with sea views is your thing, then this is the spot for you!

Described as "laid back luxury in the heart of the old town", North House provides an extensive menu together with a gorgeous menu for al fresco eating!

The Sun Inn, Newport

Offering a hearty British menu with stunning sea-views, The Sun Inn is a must on any visit to the Isle of Wight. If you love history, you'll love eating in this 16th century thatched pub!

Remember, these are OUR recommendations; places we've visited time and again whilst spending time at our beloved Crew House and we're sure you won't be disappointed if you give them a try.
